I had the pleasure of photographing beautiful little Ruby this past week. What a little cutie pie! Even as a tiny little bundle, Ruby didn’t want to miss out on a moment during her session. She was so curious about the world around her and loved to look at her loving parents. One moment we thought she was sleeping, and then we’d notice she would peek one little eye open. SO cute.

Ruby’s parents are pretty awesome, too. You can tell they simply ADORE their baby girl! I had so much fun chatting with them about their experience, and as it turns out, Laura and I even have the same doctor(… it will only be three more months until i’ll be going through the same thing!).

Geoff and Laura, it was a pleasure to meet you and spend an afternoon with you. Your little Ruby is stunning (but you already know that!).

Nick is one smart guy for several reasons. After he graduates from High School this spring, he will be attending Bethel University (where I graduated from both with my undergrad and masters degree!), he wants to pursue engineering (something which I have NO idea about!) and you can just tell he has such a good head on his shoulders. I had so much fun getting to know Nick a bit more and exploring the many acres on his family’s land in Burnsville. They literally have a ship and a zip line in their back yard. That’s right, a ship. Talk about a kid’s dream place to grow up!

Congrats, Nick! Can’t wait to hear about all the great things ahead for you!
