Brie is one of the people who I’ve known forever and love like a sister. When she told me she was applying to be the next Fox Sports North Girl and needed some updated headshots, I was SO excited to spend some time with her at my studio! She wanted to show off her fun personality in a classic and modern setting to focus on HER rather than the background. I’d say that these showcase the beautiful lady that she is.

I haven’t shared much of my personal life on my blog (other than via my Instagram account!), and this year I plan to share more of my family. And I decided that summertime fun in Minnesota is simply the best, so I’ll start with that.

We recently went strawberry picking at Lorence’s Berry Farm in Northfield, Minnesota with some extended family. I had never picked my own strawberries before and always wanted to! Plus, you can EAT AS MANY AS YOU WANT. Let me tell you, there is nothing more delicious than sun-warmed strawberries, fresh from the field. They are easy to pick and is a great way to get some much-needed vitamin D on a nice day!

This was Brynlee’s first berry-picking experience as well, which she enjoyed from her stroller, and on the shoulders of Dad. She made sure to dress for the occasion (see photos below) and can’t wait to get in the field and do her own pickin’ next year.

Grandma didn’t want to miss out on any of the fun, either!
